Answers to common questions, safety guidance, and how to reach us. Madar Wallet is non-custodial: you alone control your funds.
The Madar team will never ask for your recovery phrase
We will never message you first, ask for your recovery phrase or password, ask you to install software, or ask you to send funds to “verify” your wallet. Anyone who does is a scammer. Our only official channels are listed below.

Frequently asked questions
How do I create a wallet?
Install the extension, choose “Create a new wallet”, write the 12-word recovery phrase on paper in order, confirm three of its words, then set a password. The phrase is the only way to restore your wallet.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Passwords cannot be recovered. Remove the wallet from the device (Settings → Danger zone, or “Forgot your password?” on the lock screen), then restore it with your recovery phrase and set a new password. Your funds are on the blockchain and are not affected.
I lost my recovery phrase. Can you restore it?
No. The phrase is created on your device and is never sent to us, so no one — including the Madar team — can recover it. While you still have access, open Settings → Show recovery phrase and write it down. If the wallet is already lost, the funds cannot be recovered.
I sent funds on the wrong network.
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. If you sent to your own address on another supported network, select that network in the wallet: the funds are there. If you sent to an exchange or another person on a network they do not support, contact the recipient’s support; we cannot move or retrieve funds.
Why do I need ETH, POL or BNB to send USDC?
Every transaction pays a network fee in the network’s own coin. Keep a small amount of it in the same account and on the same network as the USDC you want to send.
How do I move my wallet to a new device?
Install Madar Wallet on the new device and choose “Restore with a recovery phrase”. Your accounts and balances appear automatically. Then remove the wallet from the old device.
Can the Madar team cancel a transaction or refund me?
No. Madar Wallet is non-custodial: we never hold your funds and cannot cancel, reverse or freeze transactions. Always check the address and network on the review screen before confirming.
Is the wallet safe?
Your recovery phrase is encrypted on your device and never leaves it; the wallet locks automatically. The current version is a test build that has not yet had an external security audit — use small amounts only.
